One of the things that I would love to do is ride the ferry to one of the islands in the area. You can actually bring your car onto the ferry and then drive right off to explore the island. Bainbridge Island has been recommended a number of times, and so I think that will be where I will go when I finally make it over.

The temp housing we were in had a great view of the ferry docks and I got a few pics while a ship was coming in. So fascinating!
