I don't swatch often, but when knitting a sweater, I suppose swatching is more important. And after a few mistakes, you learn that swatching really *is* as important as they say. As much as you don't want to admit it. So, here's my swatch for the sweater I'm starting tonight.
Yarn: Everlasting DK (by Dream in Color) in the Colorway: Congo
I used 4 different needle sizes: US6, US7, square needle sizes 6 and 7. After washing (yeah, I know! I even washed it!) I discovered that US6 standard was the needle that got me gauge. Now, all I have to say is... my gauge swatch better not lie to me later on!! ;o)
